“Rivulet” … A Lovely Recital Piece

This pretty piece  takes its inspiration from the ripples of a mountain stream as it cascades over mossy rocks towards a small quiet pool.  The delicate flow of notes moves towards a quiet sequence of gentle harmonic chords before resuming its rippling pulse.

♥   The gentle crescendo/decrescendo dynamics should be subtle.  Lean into the chords in the middle portion where harmony dominates.  The descending thirds in bars 17 and 42 are a bit of a technical challenge.  Drop onto the first pair and relax the hand with a slight bounce on the others.
